   ·        Geboren 1970 in Tegernsee (Oberbayern).

·        Klavierunterricht bei Michael Leslie, Franz Massinger, Gottfried Hefele am Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium und an der Hochschule für Musik in München.

·        Kompositionsunterricht bei Paul Engl auf Empfehlung von Günther Bialas.

·        Konzerte mit Randy Sandke, Warren Vaché, Kenny Davern, Bucky Pizzarelli, Bill Allred, George Masso, Al Casey, Scott Hamilton, Howard Alden, Danny Moss, Dan Barrett, Bob Barnard, Jerry Jerome, Ray Bryant uva.

·        CD-Veröffentlichungen unter anderem mit Dick Hyman, Ralph Sutton, Louis Mazetier, Bob Barnard, Trevor Richards.

·        Soloauftritte im Herkulessaal der Münchener Residenz, im Prinzregenten Theater (München), in der Philharmonie (München), an der Staatsoper "Unter den Linden" (Berlin), in der "Salle Cortot" (Paris), in der Kaufmann Concert Hall (New York), Victoria Concert Hall (Genf), auf zahlreichen internationalen Jazzfestivals (in ganz Europa, den USA, Japan, Australien, Neuseeland)

·        Kompositionsaufträge für Filmsoundtracks: "Der Lügner" 1995, "A few moves" 1996, "Chocolate Pain" 1999, "Exil" 2004.

·        1998 wird Bernd Lhotzky in Paris der “Grand Prix du Disque de Jazz" verliehen.

·        2001, 2002 und 2004 tritt Bernd Lhotzky an der Seite von Dick Hyman beim “International Stride Piano Summit" im Rahmen des New Yorker Jazz Festivals “Jazz In July" in der Kaufmann Concert Hall des 92nd Street Y auf.

·        In seiner November/Dezember-Ausgabe 2001 wählt das Londoner Klaviermagazin “Piano" Lhotzkys Solo-CD “Stridewalk" unter die 10 besten Neuerscheinungen des Jahres.

·        2005 wird Bernd Lhotzky die künstlerische Leitung für das "Schloss Elmau Swing Festival" übertragen

·        Das aktuelle Solo-Album "Piano Portrait" ist 2006 beim amerikanischen Label Arbors Jazz erschienen.

           Jazz’ in Paris.

•          2001, 2002, and 2004 he performed together with Dick Hyman at the ‘International Stride Piano Summit’ as part of the New York Jazz Festival ‘Jazz in July’, at the Kaufmann Concert Hall on 92^nd street.

•          In the November/December issue (2001) of the London magazine ‘Piano’, Lhotzky’s Solo CD ‘Stridewalk’ was voted as one of the top ten new albums.

•          In 2005 Bernd Lhotzky was entrusted with the duties of Artistic Director for the ‘Swing Festival’ at Schloss (Castle) Elmau.

•          Bernd Lhotzky’s latest Solo CD ‘Piano Portrait’ (2006) is issued by the American Label ‘Arbor Records’.
